HistoryHound 1.9.2 is a free upgrade for
all registered HistoryHound users. It is
now a Universal Binary, and also delivers
a number of fixes and improvements. Just
download and install the new version—HistoryHound
will preserve your registration information.
-
-
- HistoryHound is now a Universal
Binary that runs natively on both
PowerPC and Intel powered Macintoshes.
- When HistoryHound's search palette
is set to float above other applications,
hiding HistoryHound will no longer
hide the search palette.
- HistoryHound reports itself
to web servers as the user agent
when downloading pages.
- Incorrect dates are now detected
and corrected when adding pages to
the index.
- An indexer has been added for salvaging
URL data from damaged HistoryHound
index files. You can move a damaged
index file to the Desktop and then
add it to HistoryHound's list of
search items to recover all of the
URLs in the file.
